Jum'at, 28 Februari 2020 setelah memberikan kuliah, awak bersama Haji Muslim Sutan Kayo beranjak dari RS Polri Kramat Jati. Tujuan kami bersilaturahmi ke saudara sekampong yaitu Haji Taufik Ismail. Sudah lama juga tidak bersua Beliau. Oleh karena itu kami bersepakat Shalat Jum'at di Masjid At Taufiq
Masjid At Taufiq terletak di Jl. Sultan Agung No. 5, Guntur, Kecamatan Setiabudi, Kota Jakarta Selatan, Daerah Khusus Ibukota Jakarta 12980. Masjid yang dibangun Haji Sofyan posisinya sangat strategis dipinggir jalan raya sehingga cukup banyak jamaah beribadah terutama para musafir.
Alhamdulillah kami tiba Pukul 11.30. Masih ada waktu bersua Tuan Palengah demikian nama gelar Haji Taufik. Seperti dijelaskan oleh Putrinya Hajjah Varia " apak sehat sehat saja hanya tidak bisa keluar kamar" Ketika kami bersua Ulama berusia 107 tahun terbaring di tempat tidur. Kami saling menyapa, Tuan (demikian wak menyebutnya) terlihat sehat, bisa berkomunikasi dan masih ingat nama awak Haji Siddiq.
Subhanallah di usia satu abad lebih Tuan Palengah mampu khatam Al Qur'an setiap 3 hari. Membaca Al Qur'an tanpa bantuan kacamata. Jadi inilah yang dikatakan sebagian ulama sebagai pasak bumi. Ulama sepuh yang terus beribadah dalam doa doa nya guna keselamatan umat terutama yang bermukim di Jakarta.

Ismail adalah sosok Ulama Langka. Bisa jadi tidak banyak atau sulit
ditemukan ulama istiqomah beribadah. berusia diatas 100 tahun namum
tidak pikun. Masih ingat nama nama semua anak dan cucu serta cicit pada

Secara kekrabatan awak memiliki hubungan emosional sangat erat dengan Hajj Taufik. Pasalnya kami tahun 1994 menunaikan ibadah haji bersama. 36 tahun lalu dalam usia 80 tahun Beliau masih mampu tawaf dan sai bahkan di Padang Arafah ketika Wukuf arafah tetap bisa mengikuti semua ritual ibadah haji secara sempurna. Bahkan ketika melontar jumroh Tuan Haji tidak diwakilkan..
Kisah nyata pertemuan di depan kabah sungguh satu peristiwa luar biasa. Ketika itu kami saling mencari di Tanah Suci bersebab menunaikan ibadah haji berlainan periode dan kloter. Tuan Palengah jemaah haji priode ke 2 sedangkan awak sebagai petugas Kesehatan Haji Indonesia rumbongan pertama. Keajaiban itu terjadi ketika kami ditakdirkan dipersuakan di pelataran depan Ka'bah atas seizin Allah SWT.
Oleh karena itu jalinan silaturahim tetap terjaga hingga saat ini sejak 40 tahun lalu. Saling mendoakan dan bahkan awak yang lebih banyak minta didoakan agar tetap istiqomah beribadah. Tertanam satu keyakinan seperti juga yang disampaikan Haji Rizal bahwa doa Datuk Tuan Haji Taufiq di ijabah Allah SWT.
Setelah Shalat Jumat di Masjid At Taufiq disebelah kediaman Hajjah Varia kami kembali bersilaturahim. Awak bersua sobat sesama aktif di Iluni UI Paska Sarjana Mas Ibrahim. Mas Ibrahim ikut bersilaturahmi ke sang Pasak Bumi, itulah sebutan awak kepada Ulama sepuh ini. Kami bertemu juga dengan Haji Rizal bin Haji Syofian (alm) penerus kelauarga besar memakmurkan Masjid At Taufiq.
Mas Ibrahim bekerja di Kantor Dewan Masjid Indonesia (DMI) di bagian Media. Sungguh satu rahmat pertemuan tidak terduga tersebut ketika Haji Rizal Pengurus Masjid At bTaufiq mendapat informasi terkait kerja sama antar Masjid dengan DMI. Semoga komunikasi nan terjalin bisa saling meningkatkan kualitas memakmurkan masjid.
